New Dream Catchers

Just when I thought I was over crocheting dream catchers, I was commissioned to do a couple more dream catcher earrings, and was able to come up with these two in a day. Boho has never really been my personal style (although I often wish it were), but I just enjoy designing these dream catcher-themed accessories so much (of course by saying that I'm assuming they're indeed "boho", i mean, I wouldn't really know for sure quite honestly :p). Well anyway, these two got me thinking if I should start making dream catcher earrings and necklaces again. After all, I was happy with how these two pieces turned out. I think my design taste has matured, comparing with my previous dream catcher designs? Anyway, do you like them? Tell me what you think! :)

Weekend in Alabama

...in 10a Alabama St., Quezon City, that is!

So last weekend, I was one of the participants at the 10a Alabama Handmade Arts & Crafts fair. It was so fun being around and getting to meet amazing fellow crafters! Unfortunatelyyyyy, I wasn't able to take photos of the event :( Well, 'cause I suck haha. Plus, I was assigned a booth located inside the main house where the lighting made it difficult for me to set my camera, and so I got too lazy to go around and take photos. Sorry! The only "decent" photos I was able to get are of my set-up:

So yeah :/ But! I got a load of nifty handmade stuff from the fair, so I'm posting photos of them instead :) Some, I purchased. Others, I got as gifts. All of them, awesome:

Eeep! My very own "lovenikita" wire art bangle from PopJunkLove! I put black ribbon to act as clasp, and now it looks even more "me". I love it.

Sleep mask and pins from Monsterella Plush Art. Love these. I'm getting their monsters next!

Beauuuuutiful leather and bead jewelry from My Gilded Nest <3
Hand painted paper mache horses by Takatak Project

Hand-stitched felt elephant brooch by Gawani Fe-mi-- sooo cute!
Fabric stickers and washi tape from Jaja of Bing Accessories-- Right?? Fabric stickers!Handmade doll by I.Am.Handmade-- my daughter loves this so much, so soft and cuddly! (Btw, the doll originally came mouth-less, my daughter just couldn't resist putting a smile on her! Hee.)
Handcrafted soap by Lotus Bloom-- I got this coffee+spearmint+peppermint soap that smells soooo yummy, I'm always tempted to bite into the bar.

A googlygooey postcard!! Finally got to meet Tippy and Pong too! No, they weren't pink and blue (although Pong was wearing a blue shirt then hihi). But Tippy is as nice and sweet as we'd all imagined her to be :)

I met a few more new crafty friends! But, again, I'm sorry I don't have photos. But here are their links, go check out their awesome work too!

Fabric bangles and statement necklaces by Denise of Simone's Closet

DIY LoveNikita Packaging

If you've bought from me several times before you'd probably have an idea how often I change my packaging. I've been experimenting with different materials to come up with packaging that's 1) cheap 2) environment-friendly and 3) simple, yet pretty. Here's what I came up with recently.
